The environment is a high desert and mountains and the hunts are conducted by 4WD vehicles or horseback riding. Its’ game quality is the result of relentless grind of genetics improvements. In that sense, hunters will be able to find the best quality available in the country for many big game hunting species including red stag, fallow deer, wild boar, Pere David deer, European mouflon and a very wide variety of mountain rams and goats among others like axis deer and blackbuck.

Our 60.000 acre (24.000 hectares) private ranch is located just 60 miles north of the beautiful city of San Carlos de Bariloche with paved road access from it and has the perfect habitat for Red Stag, which are found free roaming in abundance. This is the perfect place to bring a non-hunting guests since this is one of the most touristic destinations of Patagonia country.
Accommodations are top notch; the lodge was recently renovated and is limited to six master bedrooms (with private bathroom) with all the comfort of a five star hotel. There is a chef who excels in the preparation of delicious local and international gourmet cuisine. Argentinean quality wine and beer are freely available during meals. This first-class lodge runs 25.000 acre (11.000 hectares) of pristine Patagonian steppe country. Because its mountainous environment it requires more demanding physical conditions than our other Patagonian lodge.
It is located in the southern part of the Province of Neuquén, with paved road access from the airport in the beautiful city of San Carlos de Bariloche (130 miles).
Accommodations are excellent with different features than Algar. This is smaller but very enjoyable since looks cozy and homey. We consider it suitable for smaller groups because it has three master bedrooms with private bathroom and high level of comfort. Argentinean quality wine and beer are freely available during meals. Service include: Premium accommodation, World-class cuisine, Valet laundry, San Carlos de Bariloche airport reception and assistance, Wi-Fi internet access, trophy scoring (SCI & CIC) and some activities for non-hunting companions.

The internationally renowned Lake Strobel A.K.A. Jurassic Lake, is a crystal clear water lake of 65 square kilometers located in a very far of isolated spot of the Province of Santa Cruz, Patagonia, Argentina. This lake has a unique biological conditions that allow amazing growth of trout, famous worldwide as probably the best wild rainbow trout fishery of the world.
Anglers have to take a domestic flight to El Calafate (Glaciers National Park) in the very South of Argentina and from the our staff will transfer you in 4WD trucks to our ranch.
Estancia Laguna Verde is the only fishing operation working in that natural paradise which also includes fantastic action at Barrancoso river also known as Jurassic River, the only tributary of the big lake with more than 5 miles running inside our property, as well as great and challenging fishing in the 15 smaller lakes inside the ranch. All these fishing option will give to our clients the serious chance to battle against huge and powerful trout, enjoying the comfort of our exclusive lodge which is located at the South shore of this incredible place.
The lodge main building is a typical Estancia house with 4 bedrooms with private bathroom (three doubles and one double/triple) for as many as 6/9 anglers per week. There is a spacious living room with a nice view of Laguna Verde where cocktails and appetizers are served to our clients as well as the best dishes of our international chef.
There also is a changing room/dryer facility located just by the entrance door of the lodge, in order to use before/after fishing, dress/undress, as well as keep all fishing gear ready and dry every day.
Satellite TV and WiFi Internet, IP Phone, laundry and so on are some of the many services provided at the lodge beside of ATVs usage, 4WD vehicles with rod racks, boats, fishing gear, extra rods and many other services provided in the field.
